Dr. Brown Presents at the 2019 Advanced Practice Providers Oncology Summit

On Friday September 13, 2019 Dr. Tony Brown presented at the Advanced Practice Providers (APP) Oncology Summit in the Denver Tech Center. This continuing education conference is devoted to providing the latest developments in the multidisciplinary treatment, practical patient management, and inter-professional care of oncology patients.

The conference is designed to provide advanced practice providers with the latest evidenced-based strategies to optimize care and outcomes for patients with cancer. It is a collaborative effort of oncology clinicians from multiple organizations. This year’s event was attended by over 60 APP’s from not only Colorado, but also from around the country.

Dr. Brown’s presentation, Management of Intractable Malignancy-Associated Pain, included a discussion about spine and bone interventions performed by RIA Interventional Radiologists.
