The Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute at HealthONE held a virtual town hall to discuss the importance of cancer screenings and staying on top of your screening schedule.
Six physicians, including our own Lora Barke, DO sat down to talk about the preventative measures in place to ensure patient safety. You’ll also hear them talk about why screenings are so important. For example, one in eight women will get breast cancer, and 170,000 people are diagnosed with colon cancer every year, but early detection saves lives.
The town hall featured these physicians:
• Lora Barke, DO, Breast Radiologist
•Stephanie Miller, MD, Breast Surgeon
• Jenifer Marks, MD, Thoracic Surgeon
• Ellen Volker, MD, Pulmonologist
• Warren Strutt, MD, Colorectal Surgeon
• Theresa Lee, MD, Gastroenterologist
