We got to sit down with Brian Ravert, MD, and ask some questions. We love the emphasis on patient care that our team has at RIA Endovascular.

How, when and why did you decide to pursue a career in medicine?

I decided to pursue a career in medicine during my sophomore year of college after realizing that an interest in physics wouldn’t necessarily translate into enjoyment in a career in physics. Medicine held the promise of a profession that would provide an intellectual challenge and the satisfaction of knowing I was providing a service of considerable value to my patients.

What do you like most about your job?

Interventional radiology is a specialty perfectly positioned at the intersection of numerous aspects of medicine: analytical, procedural and providing a high level of direct patient contact.

What is your favorite way to spend free time?

Spending time with my family, reading and playing guitar.

What do you like most about working at RIA?

What I like most about working at RIA is the security and satisfaction I’m able to derive from being a member of a team that prioritizes providing the highest-quality patient care.
