Meet Dr. Jim Luethke, MD, Vascular and Interventional Radiologist

How, when and why did you decide to pursue a career in medicine? 

I was lucky to identify my calling early. As a high school junior, I had a fabulous Biology teacher that influenced me greatly, and that early love for the sciences lead me to a career in medicine.

What do you like most about your job? 

I love my job because I actually get to be a doctor and not a business man. I get to work in great hospitals with great nurses and techs.

What is your favorite way to spend free time (away from work)? 

When I’m not at work, I enjoy going to my off-grid cabin with family and friends.

What do you like most about working at RIA? 

I enjoy working at RIA because it is a world class radiology group with great partners. The business office does their work so that I can focus on being the best radiologist I can be.
