Meet Your Care Team: Aaron Hilt

HI AARON! THANKS FOR ANSWERING A FEW QUESTIONS SO OUR PATIENTS CAN GET TO KNOW YOU A LITTLE BIT. FIRST QUESTION…WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO PURSUE A CAREER IN MEDICINE?

I knew I wanted to be in the medical field since I was a young, but didn’t know in what aspect. I started working as a caregiver for people who had traumatic brain injuries and got to work closely with a wonderful nurse who helped these individuals on a daily basis. At this time I realized that becoming a nurse was what I wanted to do for a career.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?

When people come to hospitals or clinics for procedures this can be a really difficult day. Being able to help comfort and provide care for these individuals and make that day a little easier is what I enjoy about this job.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO SPEND FREE TIME (AWAY FROM WORK)?

I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife and two dogs. I also find myself playing sand volleyball and spending time with friends and family exploring new places in the city.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT WORKING AT RIA?

The team at RIA is wonderful to work with and they are some of the most talented people in their respective fields that I have ever encountered.
