MEET THE YOUR CARE TEAM IS OUR ONGOING SERIES OF INTERVIEWS FEATURING THE TALENTED PEOPLE BEHIND THE MEDICINE AT RADIOLOGY IMAGING ASSOCIATES AND INVISION SALLY JOBE.
Bre Juda, Nurse Practitioner
How, when and why did you decide to pursue a career in medicine?
My grandpa was a dentist and would care for anyone. He didn’t care if they had to pay him with oranges, as long as he could help them. That inspired me to care for others. I can’t imagine what I would do if I was not in the medical field.
What do you like most about your job?
I love my patients and the people I work with at RIA. I used to be an Interventional Radiology nurse at Swedish Hospital. When I started working with RIA, it felt like I fit right in with the group. I like the challenge that interventional radiology brings to all of us. There are never two patients alike and it seems as though we can almost always find a way to help them. That is what I was looking for in my career.
What is your favorite way to spend free time (away from work)?
Outside of work, I like to surf and snowboard. I am a Denver native and really enjoy spending time outside in the amazing Colorado air. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. That includes outdoor activities and traveling.
What do you like most about working at RIA?
I like working side by side with, what I consider, the best Radiology group in Colorado. They support me and let me practice as a nurse practitioner with autonomy. I feel strongly that RIA is the place I was meant to land.
