We have an amazing team. Whether in our office or a hospital setting, our focus is on getting you back to the life you love to live. Get to know a little about nurse practitioner Brittany Delmonico.
How, when and why did you decide to pursue a career in medicine?
I have always been interested in the medical field; however, what solidified my pursuit to advance from an RN to a nurse practitioner was my beautiful experience in helping to care for my aunt with late-stage ovarian cancer. Being able to care for, assist and help her, as well as advocate for her, during her most vulnerable moments was a gift to me that I hope to always pass along. I’m very lucky to be able to provide the same to others as a health care provider.
What do you like most about your job?
I like that I get to help in making a difference in my patient’s lives. To be able to offer my support and guidance to my patients through my assessment, giving an understanding of potential procedures and then post procedure. I am there to answer questions and address concerns, which puts our patient’s minds at ease and makes a difference in their individual experience.
What is your favorite way to spend free time?
I have three kiddos and a pretty amazing husband, and on my free time, I love spending time with them. We love pool time, bike rides, paddle boarding and camping trips when we can.
What do you like most about working at RIA?
I love that there are so many less invasive procedures that our interventional radiologists are able to perform that could keep a patient out of an operating room and potentially save a person’s life. That is phenomenal to me, and I get to be a part of that team!
