Meet Your Care Team: Mustafa Haddad, MD

HELLO DR. HADDAD! SO, HOW, WHEN AND WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO PURSUE A CAREER IN MEDICINE?

My decision to purse medicine was a gradual one that began in high school. Around then I discovered that I enjoyed biology but more importantly, I learned that I liked to help others out. During college, I learned more about medicine and how it can impact and help the life of others. Seeing the difference I could make in the life of others, I decided to pursue medicine.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT WORKING AT RIA?

Knowing that I helped a patient out. Whether it involves a complex procedure or a simple task, the satisfaction of knowing that a patient has been helped by my effort is the most satisfying aspect of my job.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO SPEND FREE TIME (AWAY FROM WORK)?

Simply to spend time with my family, friends, and dog. With them, I enjoy doing simple things like hiking, watching football, or going out to eat.

The fact that I am blessed to work in a group with such intelligent and dedicated individuals. It feels great to know that I am part of a team like RIA Endovascular.
