How, when and why did you decide to pursue a career in medicine?

Having many family members working in health care, I always held some interest in having a career in the medical field. I knew I wanted to be actively involved in the decision-making and care-planning for patients, which prompted my pursuit to become a PA.

What do you like most about your job?

I enjoy working in a field that finds solutions for pathology involving nearly every body system and to work alongside numerous other specialties to provide the best care possible for our patients. I like being part of a specialty that continually improves patients’ safety and outcomes with minimally invasive interventions.

What is your favorite way to spend free time?

I enjoy spending time with my friends and being outdoors with my dog.

What do you like most about working at RIA?

I feel privileged to be working alongside some of the most talented and friendly providers and clinical staff in the field.
