We got to ask Sierra Lesjak questions about working at RIA Endovascular. Thank you for taking some time with us.
How, when and why did you decide to pursue a career in medicine?
I decided to pursue my career in medicine while I was in high school. My grandpa had been sick for six years at the time in my senior year. He had so many different people (nurses, CNAs, etc.) care for him over the years, and watching them help him and my family really just helped me figure out what I wanted to do. I loved interreacting with them and seeing the difference they made in all of my family’s lives.
What is your favorite way to spend free time?
My favorite way to spend free time is with my boyfriend, Calvin, and our puppy Hank. We love to take him hiking and on endless walks. In the summer, we spend most of the time camping and boating with my family. I really just enjoy being outside anyway we can!
What do you like most about working at RIA?
My favorite part about working at RIA is being able to make a difference in patient care. I love being able to spend time with patients and talk to them. I also love the people I work with. Everyone here is awesome, and we all get along so well. It makes work more enjoyable!
