You can tell the doctors, nurses, and staff at RIA Endovascular care. It’s in the details. Find out from Danille M. how RIA Endovascular personalized her experience.
What problems were you having before you came to RIA Endovascular?
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer I had to have a double mastectomy. I needed chemotherapy and after an unsuccessful attempt by my surgeon at the hospital to put in a port, I was referred to RIA Endovascular.
What specific result/outcome did you like most about this procedure?
I really appreciated the fact that I didn’t need general anesthesia for my procedure at RIA and I was awake the entire time. There are amazing views from the room so I got to experience them at the same time. While I was awake, they explained everything that was happening. It was comforting. The procedure was quick. I couldn’t believe how simple it was considering everything else I had been through.
How was your patient experience with the doctor and clinic staff?
Everyone was fantastic! You can tell they all know exactly what they are doing. They did everything they could to help me relax and it worked! They even played hip hop music (per my request) during the port placement. It was such a fun atmosphere.
What would you like to share with others?
I can’t wait to go back for my port removal and see everyone who cared for me. I never thought I would say that about a doctor’s office. They better get my hip hop music ready, because I will be ready to jam out!
Thanks RIA Endovascular for my wonderful experience. You all are the best!
