How did you hear about RIA Endovascular?
I was recommended to RIA Endovascular by my spine surgeon. I needed a kyphoplasty and RIA Interventional Suite was his recommendation so that I could avoid a conventional “surgery”.
What brought you to RIA Endovascular?
I have had back problems for years. I had a kyphoplasty years ago on a different vertebral body. I had it done in the hospital under general anesthesia.
What was different about RIA Endovascular?
Having a kyphoplasty in an outpatient setting was SO MUCH BETTER than going to the hospital. I felt completely safe. The RIA Endovascular/Interventional Suite is so clean and organized. I did not have any issues scheduling/parking/checking in at the outpatient facility.
The actual procedure went very well. I was happy that I didn’t need general anesthesia. I was comforted by the staff and felt secure with the doctor and staff. Nurse Aaron was VERY helpful, patient, courteous and nice. I can’t think of any way the procedure could have gone better.
How have you felt since your procedure?
The great news is that after my kyphoplasty I haven’t had any pain except for some arthritis. This is not surprising to me and I am definitely more comfortable after my procedure. The follow up call with the nurse practitioner was very much appreciated. I was glad I didn’t have to drive to the clinic and I could have the appointment from the comfort of my home.
What would you tell others about RIA Endovascular?
RIA Endovascular is a great place to have a procedure. I would recommend it to others because I feel like they are 100% great at everything they do!
