Our patients are our number one priority. Every person that comes through the door is unique and treated as such. These help us get even better and help others understand just what we do at RIA Endovascular. We appreciate the stories each patient shares.
What problems were you having before you came to RIA Endovascular?
I was having issues with my kidneys and seeing a nephrologist in Parker.
How did you discover RIA Endovascular?
My nephrologist told me I needed a fistula in preparation for dialysis. I thought that meant surgery, but my doctor told me RIA offered a minimally invasive alternative way for me to get my procedure. It is called percutaneous fistula creation. He highly recommended Dr. Yee at RIA endovascular.
What specific result did like most about this procedure?
I was so surprised at how easy the whole procedure was and how I experienced zero pain. NONE AT ALL! I think it was because it isn’t an actual surgery. When I went in for my follow up visit I was thrilled to find out the procedure was a success. Dr. Yee told me the circulation through my fistula was high and that was the goal.
How was your patient experience with the doctor and clinic staff?
Everyone at the hospital and the clinic were great. They took good care of me and made sure I was comfortable. The physician assistant, Mark Laudermilk, was really helpful throughout the entire process.
What would you like to share with others?
This is not a surgery. This is a simple procedure that does not cause pain. I left the hospital with a bandaid on my arm and that was it!
