Patient Stories: Jennifer L. Shares Her Gratitude

I came to RIA in order to get a tunnel line put in so that I could easily receive IV therapy for a month.

The procedure to implant the tunnel line was only five days after surgery, and my body was very painful and tender. The nurses, assistants and doctors treated me with sensitivity even as they remained strong in getting the job done. They made me feel comfortable by explaining each step and checking in with me along the way. They made sure that I could see the imagery and offered to send me home with a copy of it. I don’t think that I have ever been to a medical facility that was so cheerful. I was blown away by the joy that the staff shared with me all three times that I visited. The procedure was not easy in the state that I was in, but I will never forget the staff and the overwhelming joy that they shared. That was special!
