What problems were you having before you came to RIA Endovascular?
I have a history of a broken femur. I was in physical therapy for at least a year. Years later I started getting calf cramps on long walks. I blamed it on my previous injury and ignored the cramps for at least six months. I finally went to my primary care doctor and he sent me to RIA Endovascular to be evaluated for peripheral arterial disease.
How was your patient experience with the doctor and clinic staff?
I have had a history of not so great medical experiences. I have had multiple issues that make me extremely nervous about anything medical. I couldn’t believe how relaxed I felt at RIA Endovascular. Everyone from the front desk receptionist to the doctor put me at ease. Nurse Jessica is an absolute doll. Dr. Stratil was so sweet. He was careful to explain everything to me because he knew I was scared. Michael assisted in the procedure and was very funny and kind. I love to tell jokes and this group was the perfect audience. Ten out of ten for bedside manner of the entire staff!
What specific result/outcome did you like most about this procedure?
After my successful angiogram I have experienced zero cramping. They were able to open up the artery, so I am getting better blood flow to my leg and foot. My toes are not cramping. It feels great to be pain free.
What would you like to share with others?
I felt safe at the clinic. It is clean and so pleasant. There was somebody with me at all times. They are considerate, kind and competent. They calmed down all of my fears. I would recommend RIA Endovascular to anyone that asks my opinion. They were wonderful.
