Patient Stories: Unsightly Veins and Pain, Resolved at RIA Endovascular

I was diagnosed with a blood clot behind my left knee. I had aching in both legs. There was discoloration behind my knee and I had several “ropey” veins and my right inner knee was covered with purple spider veins. I was suffering from venous insufficiency.

I am in the medical field and worked with RIA for several years at one of the local hospitals. I have seen what an amazing job they do with their patients at the hospital. I trust them and knew that when I finally decided to do something about my legs, RIA Endovascular would be the right option for me.

After the procedure, I actually have zero leg pain! Improvement and look of my legs has also been very satisfying. It is nice to not be embarrassed if I want to go out in public while wearing shorts.

They are professional and I can tell they genuinely care about me and my well-being. I think this is the first doctor’s office that I actually look forward to visiting.

I see people out in public with signs of venous insufficiency and I just want to pull them aside and tell them my story and how they can get relief with the help of the RIA Endovascular clinic. It was a wonderful decision I made to finally take care of my legs.
