On January 21, 2020, Dr. Stratil was on 9News’ Colorado & Company discussing venous insufficiency. Today, we get to hear first hand from one of our clients, Heidi G., who came in for just such a problem.
What problems were you having before coming to RIA Endovascular?
I had severe varicose veins after having five kids. I already had two procedures on my legs in 2007 and 2011, but the veins returned and were even worse. I’ve had multiple superficial blood clots in my legs. My legs constantly ached, and I was tired of hurting every day. I wore compression hose for eight years and still had ugly ropey veins. I was very frustrated.
How did you discover RIA Endovascular?
My friend Annie Collum works for RIA and suggested that I have one of their interventional radiologists evaluate and treat my varicose veins. RIA was also recommended by Dr. Jill Quigley who is at Peak Health Family Medicine.
What specific results did you like the most about this procedure?
After my procedure my veins are less bulky which means I won’t continuously have to go in for ultrasounds for blood clots forming in my varicose veins. Everyone was so nice and calm and really took care of me. I previously had terrible experiences with other vein centers. I couldn’t believe what a different and amazing my experience as like with the staff and doctors at RIA Endovascular.
How was your patient experience with the doctor and staff?
Fantastic. So professional, helpful, calm and knowledgeable. They worked hard to make sure I was comfortable. Again, past experiences have been awful and I just can’t stress enough how awesome everyone here has been.
What would you like to share with others?
If you want to have your varicose veins treated, go to a place that knows what they are doing so that you don’t have to go through this multiple times like I did. RIA IS FANTASTIC!
