Claire earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, before completing a master’s degree in nursing at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. She later received an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner certification from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
