He pursued medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, followed by an internship in Transitional Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston and a Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
